Original Watercolour - Winter at the Beaver dam
This is a watercolour I did this evening. I did this one a little differently.
Painting onto dry paper rather than wet.
Typically I use masking tape to keep the paper flat but could not find the tape in all our junk.
I will pick up some tape and new paper this week.
I start with a very quick Pencil sketch to mark the horizon and a few trees in the foreground...

I can print these off onto canvas at Costco .... any size.
Now... digital artwork is great and all but there is something special about an original painting.

I keep forgetting to log out of Steem and log into the communities though.... this is going to take some getting used to.
Find out what their hive tag is and simply add that as yourfirst tag than you dont have to login there to post it to their community

Thanks. I used to paint watercolours all the time.... then we had kids ... and a puppy. Just getting back into it.... kinda rusty

I think it is very old .... from China. I learned from a guy that learned to paint in China millions of years ago. He looked a lot like Yoda.
