A lot of children are being neglect by their parents. Most of the children couldn't go to school due to poor parenting and poverty.

To handle this two major concerns. The group of volunteers created a livelihood program for single parents. This livelihood program is called "Soap for Hope". The women committee in the brgy del carmen received a sets of molders and soap ingredients to create their very own soap.

Another group of women also under the same brgy will be incharge in the selling and marketing via online.

The income will be divide into 70-30. 70% for the labor force (Soap makers and Sellers), while 30% will go back for the cooperative to continue purchasing the needed resources for soap making.

As the single parents go to work. The group of volunteers tap private sectors and local government agencies to provide a scholarship grants to their children.

The scholarship allowed the children to go back to school instead of stopping from studying and minimize their exposure to vices and misdeeds. This positive opportunity also allow the children not being expose to domestic violence at home or in the community.

The two societal issue gradually being address by kind hearted volunteers who wish nothing but to aid the needy and destitute families and vulnerable children.

This simple deeds have slowly secure the future of the next generation and minimize the violence and chaos in the community as we did not just address the poverty by giving the single parents the buying capacity to resolve their financial difficulties but also changing the wellbeing of their families particularly their children.

Hands off to all parents who dedicated their time to uplift their family and children.
