Contest #14 Week 4 - My Holiday Time - A family Vacation

A Family Vacation, A Home Away From Home.

We all love to spend some time on a vacation whether alone, with friends or with family. Well, who else doesn't? Right? Surely we all want it.

We're living different lives, facing different struggles and everyday we're trying to survive and that makes us entitled for having a break from time to time. Doing things we love either meditating, hiking, eating to your favorite restaurant or going out to the beach with families and friends.

And so here I am, after a long and a very busy week, my family and I finally got the time to relax and have fun. We spent 3 days in a paradise-like beach resort somewhere in Northern Cebu, Philippines, the " BEACH PLACID RESORT".

It is located in Sta. Fe, Madredejos, Bantayan Cebu. Bantayan Island has been one of the top destinations, if not number one, in Cebu Province for some time now. Year after year, foreign and domestic tourists alike flock to Bantayan Island and the surrounding area during the lenten season (holy week). The fresh, clean air and interesting cave resort sites attract visitors from far and wide. Perhaps best known as the ‘Boracay In Cebu’. Islands in Sta. Fe area are fantastic natural scenery and crystal clear blue water.

The rooms are spacious, clean and air-conditioned yet very affordable with 2 queen sized beds, a bathroom, a TV and a mini fridge and yes we are lucky enough to book 2 beach-front rooms that time for only $96. And the cottages are also affordable.

We had our breakfast in an open air restaurant inside the resort. The foods are a bit pricey but it's delicious.

And the rest of the days we enjoyed the beauty of the beach, the fine white sand and the beautiful sunrise.

So there you have it! Our short vacation in Bantayan Island. I would really love to go back to that place because for me it's a paradise.
