I like the fresh atmosphere of the Istiqamah Great Masjid, Tapaktuan, South Aceh. Its exact location in the center of Tapaktuan City and at the foot of the Bukit Barisan Mountains.

This Masjid has one main dome and is surrounded by 4 minarets which add to the grandeur of the Masjid. There is one more tower that towers majestically in the courtyard of the Masjid.

The shrines on the right and left are connected to the main building by a small hallway surrounded by beautiful pillars, we are also presented with a green view of Bukit Barisan while walking down the hall.

The interior design is also very attractive with the supporting pillars of the building covered in orange marble which gives a majestic impression and two traditional-style wooden clocks that stand like guards in front of the Imam Prayer Room and the Pulpit of Khutbah and Tausyiah which make the traditional atmosphere also felt in this Masjid.
