WEEKLY COOKING CONTEST- WEEK #04 ||MY GROUND PORK DISH || FOOD RECIPE ||

I want to share my own version cooking of GROUND PORK DISH or GINILING NA BABOY a Filipino dish. This dish is easy to prepare and very affordable. And this is my entry for WEEKLY COOKING CONTEST Initiated by @sabbirrr.
The list of ingredients are the following:
- 1/2 kilo ground pork
- 1 pc bell pepper
- 1 pc onion
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 pc carrots
- 1 can dried peas
- 1 grams msg/umami seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 table spoon soy sauce
- 1 grams ground black pepper
- 2 grams magic sarap
- 50 ml cooking oil
- 1 cup water
Cooking Preparation:
- Wash the ground pork 3 times or more and put it into a strainer in order to drain the water.
- Clean all the spices and cut the spices according to your desired cut or shape.
Cooking Procedures (step by step)
1.Prepare the cooking utensils and pre-heat the pan. Set the fire into medium range.
2.Pour the 50 ml cooking oil, add the garlic minced and the onion, then saute for a few minutes until the garlic turn into golden brown. Then add the ground pork and mixed well and fry for about 5 minutes continue mixing.
3.Add 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 gram msg/umami seasoning and 2 grams magic sarap then mixed well.
4.Add 1 gram ground black pepper then mixed, add the carrots, bell pepper and dried peas mixed again then add 1 cup water and let it cook for 20 minutes and try to taste it for the best result or to satisfied your taste.
5.Remove from the pan and serve, it is better to serve while hot. ( suggestion you can add or put a boiled egg for toppings )
