Hello steemians foodie lovers in Steemit City, how are you all.... Hoping that you'll alright all. Greetings from Philippines 🇵🇭 by @reyarobo. I want to share my own version cooking of SPICY CHICKEN LIVER AND GIZARD ADOBO as my entry in this cooking competition initiated by @sabbirrr.
The ingredients list:
- 1/2 kilo Chicken Liver and Gizard
- 3 cloves garlic minched
- 1 stem spring onion
- 1 pc onion
- 1 pc ginger
- 50 ml cooking oil
- 50 ml vinegar
- 30 ml soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Small amount msg/umami seasoning
- 2 grams magic sarap
- Small amount ground black pepper
- 100 ml water ( to cook enough )
The food preparation:
1.Wash and clean the liver and gizard.
2.Peel off the skin of garlic, onion and ginger.
3.Clean and wash all the spices.
4.Cut all the spices according to your desired shapes.
The cooking procedures ( step by step process)
1.Heat the pan then add the cooking oil and bring to boil into a low flame.
2.Add the garlic, onion and ginger then stir for a few minutes then add the liver and gizard saute for 5 minute then add 100 ml of water and cover the pan, and allow to cook for 10 minutes.
3.After 10 minutes uncover the pan then add soy sauce, vinegar and black pepper then stir and stir until mixed thoroughly.
4.Add salt, magic sarap and msg/umami seasoning then stir and stir and try to taste it for best result and remove from the pan.
and transfer into a serving plate.
5.Add the remaining spices such as the spring onion and finger chili for the final food plating and ready to served.
