Travelling in The City of Pines - Baguio

Hi Everyone! Hello to the Steemit People of World of Photography.

This is my first time posting in this community. I would like to thank the founder for the opportunity to join this contest.

I am so excited to share to all the five photos that I personally choose as my entry for this contest.

1st Photo - Picture of me and my husband riding a Bus Company VIctory Liner. Going to Baguio from Manila took us 4 hours via Express Way. Since the bus is fully airconditioned, we get up in a full gear, with jackets and hood :)

2nd Photo - Strolling the Street near our Hotel. We stayed for 1 night and 2 days in Palladin Hotel, Baguio. After we arrived in the Hotel, we looked around on some nearby stores, churches and spots that might help us more to become excited in staying the Hotel. With me, are the Cruz family who also enjoyed the relaxing and cool climate of the place. Due to it’s high place, Baguio is good for tourists who wants a cold climate.

3rd Photo - Strawberry picking early in the morning. We wake up as early as 5 oclock for us to witness the beautiful strawberry farm and enjoy the early morning picking. You can pick as many as strawberry and after that you will pay this based on its weight. The more strawberries you can pick, the more expensive it will be. But the good thing is, all of them are very delicious and fresh. So why not grab this chance!?

4th Photo - Going to Mines View Park. This Park is known for its amazing view and traditional or culture clothing experience. Aside from its beautiful view, you will definitely love the horse back riding, pictorial on a big St Bernard dog, and renting cultural clothes of aetas living in Baguio. It was indeed super fun because even the smallest kid has a clothes that really fits on their height.

5th Photo - Enjoying the Sizzling Food. Ofcourse, before we leave the place we need to eat what is the best and familiar foods in this place. We found the Sizzling Plate Baguio, with tag line “nothing beats our old sizzle”. The steak rates 10 to the highest level, the sauces matches the meat, the ambiance of the place is just simple and one thing is very important, it is affordable! We take time to eat first before we go back to Manila. Happy Us, Happy tummy 😋.

Travelling gives us so much pleasure and relaxing feeling. Regardless of the cost that you can spend, travelling is still the best because the memories that you’ve experience there is ireplaceable.
