Manor house in St. Anton
The manor house in St. Anton is located near Banská Štiavnica in Slovakia, where I went on a trip. I couldn't resist and went to see here too.
It is a late Baroque - Classicist mansion, whose origins date back to the 15th century. In 1415 it is mentioned as a smaller building that is fortified. It is later mentioned in the 16th century, when Slovakia faced Ottoman invasions. It served as a fortress and protected Banská Štiavnica.
In 1744, the Kohár family rebuilt it into a manor house, which had an L-shaped floor plan. A few years later, two more sides were added to it, thus creating a manor house with a rectangular floor plan and a park in its center.
Until 1944 it was the property of the nobility. The last to be a Bulgarian tsar from the Coburg family.
well thank you
