FARMER IS WORKING PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Welcome to my blog. It a new day over here so good morning ☀️ to you all.
Before I made my post for entry to this contests, I’ll have to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU 🙏 TO ALL THE MODERATORS OF THIS GROUP @wo-photography etc. I don’t really know them because I’m new in this group (just joined) but hoping to do so.

I live in the mangrove region in Akwa Ibom. A state that is located at the southern part of Nigeria 🇳🇬 which is close to Atlantic Ocean 🌊. Our land is very fertile for cultivation of various crops(plants) such as vegetable, maize, yam, waterleaf, cassava etc.

Above is a photograph of myself planting a waterleaf in our farm. We love planting waterleaf as it doesn’t require much labor but yields a great profit over here.
Planting waterleaf doesn’t much techniques.
The few steps are;

1. Find a fertile location

That’s the road leading to our farm location

1. Remove the weed
2. Make a bed
3. Till the ground
4. Plant the waterleaf by inserting it stem on the bed carefully

We like planting cassava on the ridges that we made in order to surround our waterleaf bed.

Waterleaf doesn't take long to grow. If you plant the stem, the waterleaf should be ready for harvest after 1 months.
