Weekly Cooking Contest #02: My version of "Spicy Stir-Fry Squid"

Hello fellow steemians! Especially here in The Steemit City Community. How are you all? Hope you are all doing fine and in good health.

I am back with another recipe to share. And this is my entry for the contest organized by @sabbirrr. Early morning I went to the market to buy food for breakfast, and there I found some vendors selling squid and I chose the one whose price is less than the others and fresh. And now, I am going to cook Spicy stir-fry squid. Watch and learn as I show you the easy step by step procedure on how to cook Spicy stir-fry squid.

Ingredients:
-squid
-garlic
-onion
-ginger
-carrot
-red bell pepper
-green chilli
-spring onions
-soy sauce
-oyster sauce
-chilli garlic paste
-black pepper
-seasoning mix (magic sarap)
-cornstarch
-water
-oil

The easy steps in preparing and cooking our dish:

  • wash and cut the squid and spices.

  • In a cooking pot, put ginger water enough to cover the squid and bring to boil in a medium heat.

  • When boils, add the squid and cook for 2 minutes.

  • After 2 minutes, remove the squid from the pot and let it cool.

  • Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, cornstarch and water. Mix well and set aside.

  • Pre-heat the pan, in a low-medium flame setting. And pour oil on it.

  • Let's now add the minced garlic, ginger and onions. Saute until you smell the aroma of the spices.

  • Add the squid.

  • Add the chilli garlic paste and the sauce we made awhile ago. Then the seasoning to make the dish tasty. Mix well to distribute all the ingredients.

  • Let's now add the carrots, green chilli, red bell pepper and spring onions.

  • Mix, cover and cook for 10 minutes.

  • And our Spicy Stir-Fry Squid is ready to serve and eat!
