WEEKLY COOKING CONTEST WEEK#04: My Recipe: Yam porridge with smoked fish.

Nice to be part of this week's cooking contest organized by @sabbirrr. Today, I'll be cooking yam porridge 😋. One of my favorite meal, hope you will love it too.
Ingredients
• Half tuber of yam
• 1cup of palm oil
• Pumpkin leaves
• Dry crayfish
• 3pcs of Smoked stock fish
• 1 bulb onion
• 3 Tsp chilli pepper
• 1 tsp salt
• seasoning cubes
PROCEDURE
First, prepare the ingredients for cooking.
•Peel the Yam and cut into small-sized chunks and rinse with water.
•Next wash pumpkin leaves under running tap and chop the leaves
•De-bone the Smoked stock fish, wash and put in a bowl.
•Pound dry crayfish with a mortar and pistle. After preparing the ingredients the cooking proper starts.
COOKING
•Put the yam in a pot and add 500ml of water.
•Add 3tsp of dry chilli pepper, chopped Onion and 1/2tsp salt.allow to cook for 20mins on medium heat
•After 20mins, add the smoked fish and seasoning cubes and stir properly.
•And check if the water is getting thick and cook for 5mins.
•Now the water in the pot is thick, you add ground crayfish and palm oil, and stirr properly.
•Now, add pumpkin leaves and stir properly again, cook for 3mins.
•Volaaa... Yam porridge with smoked fish is ready 😋

Cooking time: 40mins
Total time: 55mins
