Hi Steemit City friends! I wish everyone is in good hands right now.

I'm happy to share with you my one of a kind favorite food "Biko". It is our very own food, a Filipino food! Made of coconut milk, brown sugar, and glutinous rice. When the rice already cooked. Make a latik separately using the brown sugar and coconut milk, boil it until it became a bit sticky, then mixed it on the cooked glutinous rice. You can add pounded ginger and peanuts for more flavor. Then cooked again for few minutes. This time, I put a camote cue cut in shapes on top to make it different. We cooked biko mostly during special occasions such as holy week, all souls day, or any other celebrations. It is one of our dessert too.
