BEING NICE

I hope when you say you're nice or act nice, it's not because you're shrinking in order to fit in to people's expectations.I hope you don't drop your values, to accommodate people's excesses.

People know what you're about and what you stand for. The normal thing is for them to walk away if they see you're not their type of person.
But do they do that? No

Instead, they mock and talk down on the things you hold dear, your belief system and the values that define you.
So each time you shrink, lower your standards in order to fit into their mold.

What you do not realise is that they envy you, they know your worth and also know you're probably not sure of how valuable you are.

So today I hope you don't try to fit into the status quo, that you know your uniqueness. That you realize your standards aren't too high, neither are your beliefs absurd. Allow people level up too (I mean they can if they chose to) and do not make them let you settle.
