MY HOLIDAY TIME;Contest #8 Week 2

Everybody needs a little time away from the buzzing city to unwind and recharge weary souls and the best thing to do is to take a quick holiday getaway to a place where we can dive in the water while the sun is kissing our skin.

Hello Steemit City and the rest of the world I'm @carine1988 and these is my entry on how I spent my holiday time May 23,2021.

It's summertime here in the Philippines so were making most of the time,me and my cousins decided to head the south western part of Cebu and discover one of the famous beach in the province,were heading to Hermit's Cove in Kantabugon ,Aloguinsan Cebu.

We prepare the foods the night earlier and departed early in the morning since its a long 3 hours drive from the city proper,we rented a van for our transportation.

According to locals the beach was named after an old hermit that lived alone in the remote beach haven

When we arrive a cemented staircase with wooden handles lead us down to the beach,walking down the cove was like finding a hidden paradise of white sand beach.

The entrance fee is only ₱100 php that goes to the local eco-tourism cooperative that manages the beach

The entrance fee included a usage of the covered huts with table and chairs overlooking the blue prestine waters and our feet feeling the the white fine sands.

We arrived just in time for lunch so we unpacked our foods put it in a banana leaf for the famous way of eating in the Philippines the boodle fight.

It's always great to eat with the family,we get to enjoy our food very much.

After eating we then enjoy swimming in the coves clean and clear waters,and we did it repeatedly until its time to go home.

We'd love to stay for the night camping at the beach but we only got one day to enjoy because it's time to work tomorrow.There is no hotel amenities in the beach,camping is an option and you can rent a tent if you wanna stay for the night.

As much as we loved to stay the reality of going back to work strikes us so we decided to head back home before getting dark.

As we hit the road way home,we bring along with us the memory of the natural beach tucked below the cliff which overlooks the blue sea.We ate glad to capture the panoramic view of a Paradise that was Hermits Cove on our holiday break.
