Pujada Island located in Mati, Davao Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines. Pujada Island is recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world by Most Beautiful Bays in the World Association (MBBWA) last February 20, 2020.The island is also part oof the protected areas in Mati City, Davao Oriental. Protected area is a geographical space that is being conserved so that it can provide to humans and animals clean water, food and protection from natural disasters.

It was a super sunny weekend,my best friend and her colleagues decided to go to the Island and tapped me to join with them on their trip. So there is me that was so excited to go because it is my first time to ride on a boat in a long time and first to go to that Island. We ride a Pick up truck and arrived at Tamisan Port in 30 minutes from the city center. We arrived 8:45am.

After we arrived, we stayed for another 30 minutes at the port to wait for the other group joiners for the boat ride. I asked my friend anyway if they booked this ride prior to the travel day, and yes, they did called the establishment who is organizing the travel named La-ne's Kan-anan, this is a restaurant located in the city center of Mati.

For our expenses :

Our group has 11 members, 9 adults and 2 kids.
We paid Php 250.00 each adult and Php 150.00 each kid.

We had a 45 minutes ride from Tamisan port to Pujada Island. It was an amazing experience because I saw the smallest island too, the Waniban Island.

Pujada Island's Rules, of course we need to follow these rules so we can enter the Island the next time of the trip ☺️

This our cottage for that day, we spend Php350.00 for our group. We brought packed foods since there is no availble store in the Island..so you must bring the essentials 😉.

Swimming or Strolling? Hehe..we were afraid of the sea by the way, as others say the water is deep.

The kids are still, playing at the shore, still not decided to swim? Hehe.

1Of course we decided to swim. We seized the moment of it and we didn't have the photo cause we all enjoyed the pristine water of the Island. After swimming, we had this jump shot , that expresses how we really loved the island, the water and the view.

This trip was great for me. Invited by my friend's colleagues is really a pleasure though, they don't know me that well, they still let me join the trip. They were so friendly from the beginning of the trip through going home. The trip was great because it falls off the tiredness you felt from working everyday and having a busy life with family after work. I think it was a great reward for ourselves that we had seen a beautiful view and enjoyed it, not thinking about others just for a day, just ourselves, myself, and that I called a care for myself, or self love. And I think we all deserve it.
