Lonely Malnourished Chick

This photograph was taken at 7:34 AM today which is 31-03-2021 in my compound at Elele, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria.
I present to you a poor, lonely malnourished chick which lost the mother chicken to snake bite in the course of fighting to defend the children from being swallowed by the snake. The chick moves alone, there is no mother chick to cover when there is cold, the chick gets intimated by other chickens are a result peck order from the dominant chicken

The poor Malnourished Chick feed by digging up and scattering of garbage to look for worms, tiny insects, maggots and some other left over from people in the vicinity.

The Malnourished chick is prone to disease and infection from it's surroundings.
I hope the baby chick make it to adult chicken.
