Inheritance (2020) – Movie Trailer

I have already written about more than a dozen movies from the distribution company called Vertical Entertainment, and the movie Inheritance is one of the newest ones. The majority of the movies are thriller/horror genre and this one isn’t an exception… It reminds a bit of a movie made by Agatha Christie novels, or like Sherlock Holmes adventures, which is interesting as the director was involved in the creation of one of the Sherlock movies from 2009.

The story follows a wife and daughter of the wealthy and powerful man that has suddenly died and left all inheritance to two ladies… The problem is that they didn’t inherit only the money and wealth, but also a shocking secret that is a big threat that can destroy their lives...

The movie is directed by Vaughn Stein, a well-known by movies like Terminal (2018), World War Z (2013), or Sherlock Holmes (2009), where he was in the miscellaneous crew. The movie is written by Matthew Kennedy and this is the first movie that he wrote. Until now, he was producing short movies like 15 Minutes with Jacob (2013), or Restitution (2016).

In the main roles are Golden Globe nominee Lily Collins (The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), Love, Rosie (2014), Mirror Mirror (2012)), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator (2000), One Hour Photo (2002), Basic (2003)), Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead (2004), The World's End (2013), Hot Fuzz (2007)), Chace Crawford (The Covenant (2006), What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), TV Series Gossip Girl (2007-2012)), Michael Beach (Aquaman (2018), If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), Soul Food (1997)) and others.
