Blue-throated Barbet - Birding / Wildlife

The blue-throated barbet is an Asian barbet with bright green, blue and red plumage, native to Asia. In Margalla Hills, Islamabad they can be find all year around. I think that they migrate in summer season as it is very hot but surprised to see them in this hot weather in Margalla Hills. They were looking very out of color and exhausted. They were constantly searching for water and were trying to spend time under shaded trees.
