A SUGGESTION to Replace「Buy Upvote with PNUT」with「Bid for Upvote with PNUT」
The Peanut community has always been plagued by a problem: 「Pay PNUT to get Upvote from @nutbox.mine」 is preoccupied by a small number of accounts, and many users cannot enjoy this service.
I came up with this idea to replace「Buy Upvote with PNUT」with「Bid for Upvote with PNUT」. Instead of a fixed price, we allow the price of upvote purchase to fluctuate freely through bidding. This will serve several purposes:
- the upvote purchase market will be mainly regulated by the dynamic equilibrium between supply and demand, making it more efficient;
- increase the 'fairness' of the upvote purchase process, attracting more users to stake with Peanut;
- drive up the price of PNUT;
- reduce the number of PNUT transfer taking place between users and @nutbox.mine (i.e. refunds), hence reducing the amount of wasted transaction fees.
Hopefully everyone can join in the discussion and come up with more ideas to improve the PNUT economy.

it is a good idea but it seems to me that in the same way will always favor the one who has more PNUT, and that would be further undermining equal opportunities, we are clear that the work of publishing sometimes in the newer is more difficult than inexperienced people, who have more income due to the experience and the tools used, which has the entire platform, as you just mentioned. .. I have time posting and I seem to be invisible to the accounts of the whales or other users with good voting power, however, I use an automatic for my votes and whenever I am checking to comment, most of my votes are in the users with more steem power.
Its true that under a bidding system, the whales will still be more advantageous in successful bidding like in the current fixed price system. Inequality is a problem that's very hard to tackle, what I reckon is a bidding system may reduce the inequality a little bit (we really need to run a trial to see if it works out).
A bidding system will likely drive up the price of PNUT, which somewhat compensates the minions for disadvantage in bidding for upvotes as the PNUT we are holding becomes more valuable.
There's no perfect system, we need to make improvements one step at a time.
