Yes, you are right, the emotional value of these socks is the highest. It took so much time and work (which was definitely a lot of fun) to even prepare the yarn for knitting - priceless. But most importantly, it's my sheep that wore the fur.... :-))
Knitting is quite an old craft that I learned from my mother. You have to be very patient in the beginning, but eventually it "clicks" and you knit blind. Various sweaters and socks (even with complicated patterns) have already been made by my needles, but the result has never been as satisfying as with my own sheep's wool. The title of this mini-article rightly includes the word "pride"... ;-)
Okay, the next work will take its time - I'm planning a sweater (after I've processed the sock orders from family members...). But I promise to report on the welfare of the sheep in the meantime - they are soooo cute... ;-)
