The Diary Game [16-10-2025] Attending to my tasks diligently at work
Welcome to my blog @missyleo!
Yesterday, I woke up at 6am despite going to bed at 9pm, which wasn't ideal. I'll be sharing more about my daily activities with you. Stay tuned.
I've been struggling with waking up early, and it's often resulted in tardiness and salary deductions. Yesterday was no exception. I arrived at work 15 minutes past 7am, just as our supervisor was checking the attendance booklet. He barely acknowledged my greeting and instead asked, 'Is this the time for work to start?' I explained that I was late due to a delay with the tricycle I was riding, which had stopped at a fuel station. He wasn't impressed, but I apologized and headed to my duty post to start my day.
At my workstation, I found the security guard sleeping on duty. When I asked him what was wrong, he claimed to be sick. What's concerning is that he's been 'sick' for the past month, taking medication without any improvement. I advised him to stop self-medicating and undergo proper testing to determine the root cause of his ailment.

A few hours later, I received news that several irons had gone missing from the site, with the theft suspected to have occurred the previous day near my duty post. In response, Mopol officers were deployed to patrol the area, cross-check the premises, and potentially apprehend the culprits.

During lunch break, the workers, including the security guard, headed to the canteen, leaving me alone at my post. I welcomed the quiet time to attend my online Virtual Assistant (VA) class.

After wrapping up my 1-hour online Virtual Assistant class, I realized my phone battery was running low. Since there's no power outlet at my post, I needed to head to the main security post to charge my phone.
After the security guard returned around 2 pm, I asked for permission to charge my phone at the security post and grab a bite from the canteen. When I arrived, I found the other guards relaxed and gusting. I plugged in my phone and joined in on the conversation, enjoying some gist with them.
At the security post, with few of the guards gisting and sharing jokesWhile I was at the security post, a truck arrived with engine equipment supplies. I was tasked with taking inventory as the items were being offloaded.

After staying at the security post until 4 pm, I returned to my duty post, leaving my phone to charge. I managed to buy some cucumber and groundnuts from the vendors before they packed up. After eating, I went on patrol, supervising the workers. Before I knew it, closing time arrived at 6 pm, and the workers were already prepared to leave, having stopped work at 5:45 pm and arranged their tools.
I waited until everyone had left the premises before taking inventory and reporting to my supervisor, after which I closed up for the day.
A picture of my tiring face, my dirty legs on the moulding ground and the sightview of the site buildingAfter submitting my report and signing out, I headed home. It was dark by the time I arrived, but I was relieved to find that there was electricity, so I quickly prepared a simple dinner of noodles and eggs, not because I was hungry, but because I hadn't eaten a proper meal since morning and wanted something in my stomach.

My honest opinion:
I stayed tuned from the first to the last phrase.
Please be careful with your photos - there might be people who could feel incomfortable to be seen in the internet (esp. sleeping safety guards...)
Shortly at the point, no lament, but tough.
Thank you for the observation, it's well taken note of.
And thanks also for reading to the end, I appreciate it.
