We all make mistakes
No body is perfect and at one time or the other we always make mistakes. We fault in one way or the other and there’s nothing we can do about it because we are all flawed people.
If we were perfect then we won’t be making mistakes and there won’t be any need for forgiveness. It’s the feeling that you are perfect that makes you feel terrible when you make mistake and then you beat up yourself for something that you may not have any control over and yet another day you still go ahead and make mistakes maybe not same mistake.
What are my trying to say? If you understand that you are a flawed individual or someone who is prone to make mistakes, then you won’t be too hard on yourself. How do I mean?
I am not trying to say that you should deliberately be making mistakes and then claim that you are only human. All I am
Saying is that when you have this understanding, you can be lienient on yourself and on others when people make mistakes.
You do not stay at making same mistakes over and over again as that would be a wicked thing to do but you can learn from your mistakes and use the wisdom you learnt to improve another day and not make same mistake again.
In stead of beating up yourself and sulking on the mistake, you learn from it and move on. A lot of us expect so much from ourselves which is a good one but do not let the failures of yesterday keep you from moving forward.
Learn from it and improve one day at a time. When others around you make mistakes, don’t be too hard on them. Correct them amiably knowing that it could be you and then give them opportunities to prove themselves.
They may make same mistakes over and over but knowing that we are all flawed individuals let’s us treat others with the mercy we and them deserve. Remember the holy scriptures says that we should be merciful to others as we would want others to be to us.
Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
