Any territory or a landmass which is governed by group of indviduals with laws and boundary is said to be a country. A country has a variety of different buildings and place of interest. My country Nigeria is no exception because we have more than enough landmass to feed the eyes. There is a place of interest I have been to recently. The place is just awesome in its ways. Do you care to know? Let’s find it out together.

The name of this place is called Federal Science and Technical College. During this teaching practice exercise which began last week, I was posted there to practice my teaching skills. My perception about the place was that it will be full of old buildings but it changed when I went there. Actually, it was girls boarding secondary schools with modern buidings and infrasturture.
I actually like this place beacuase of several reasons

• Serenity: the first glance at the environment will tell you that the place is a condusive place for learning. It is located in a place that industrial building which generate noise are nowhere to be found.
• Public Infrastructures: Basic amenities like water supply, electricity, security, etc is easily seen and located.

Public facilities that can easily be accessed by visitors include the following:

• A Standard Football pitch: For football lovers and players, this school as a standard football pitch ever ready to be used anytime. So, the football pitchcan be an added advantage to the school and the visitors.
• Multipurpose hall: This multipurpose hall is used for different purposes like dining hall, assembly hall or other functions permitted by the school. But, it can be used to entertain visitors too.

For a student or a teacher, he or she can walk into the school to perform your assigned duty(ies). But, a visitor have to sign the visitor log book on the security post. The book contains the name of the visitor, purpose of visit and other details. Despite that, there are places prohibited to visitor like sience laboratories, libaray and other paces meant for teachers or students.

For any lover of good things, I truly recommend this place for a visit.
