Unforgettable Memory

The most unforgettable memory of my life was the period when my boyfriend became addicted to marijuana , stopped it and went into withdrawal that almost killed him and then survived and quit.

This period was between early 2020 to mid 2020. I was 19 and he was 22 at the time. I remember we used to fight a lot when he started taking smoking as a habit but I loved him so much that I couldn’t leave him.

He eventually tried to stop taking the drugs and he went into withdrawal. I can still remember it was on a Tuesday morning he was been rushed to the hospital. He almost died. When his parents heard, they came to town and took him with them. I couldn’t go with him because I had school and exams were approaching. I couldn’t communicate wt him cuz he was so sick he couldn’t talk.

After exams I would go visit him every time I could but he was so sick that he couldn’t talk. Sometimes he will just look at me and tears will roll down his cheeks but he still couldn’t talk. Watching him like that was so painful.

Then one faithful day I received a call from him and he actually spoke. He called me “babe”. It felt so good hearing his voice.
This particular memory I can’t forget.
