RE: Contest | 25-Word Comment - Monkey Business | Cheating - 6 Steem
Oh, yes that trick is as old as scraping gold from the edges of a golden coin.
Food factories do the same. Suddenly 50-150 grams less in a kilo. There was a guy testing everything sold. Matches you name it, it was rare if a product hit the weight or the amount it was sold for.
It's the same if it comes to the quality, cheap ingredients and the price goes up for a smaller package sold as "new recipe".
Buy firewood and it's a guess as well. If it rained you buy water.
It's the same if it comes to chicken. It's injected with water!
Animal food, dog food, cat food 'apple and cranberry " is promoted as if this is good for predators - no way.
We are 24/7 fooled. By now second hand items are twice the price of brandnew.
If you have scales to weight ehat you buy take it along with you and check. It is what I do in the shops and just like your neighbour I never go back to buy anything from someone who cheats on me.
The worst is if people get away with it they keep doing it and increase the scam.
With you I wonder why scam is popular and we no longer use the word we all know: cheating (vals spelen, oplichten, beduvelen).
Thanks for sharing. Beware cheaters are everywhere.
It's quite disheartening how people see making money in a quick and dubious way very attractive. I mean, there isn't any human feelings that there are hurting others while trying to make so much gain.
The worst of it all, they think it's being smart or intelligent. For me, it's absolute nonsense, it's stealing indirectly from others.
Thank you so much for this warm comment, it's truly appreciated.
