If most of the users of the community are from Indonesia, I'm afraid yes...do the hacked users have a way to recover their funds?
As I understand only within 30 days and if it can take weeks. You do need some old keys.. I believe first generate a new public key... Also you have to set steemit otherwise they can't help you. It's not easy.

What a misfortune, poor users! As most of them are from Indonesia, I suppose various of them are poor people needing these funds to maintain their household. Hoping they'll be able to recover their steem, even waiting 30 days.
A part are, like said, abandoned accounts.. Fingers crossed there will not be a new atrack in a few months or years.
