Hello everyone, and welcome to another special episode on my blog, today's topic of discussion is rurual transport.

Imploy all those presently listening to get a piece of paper as this promises to be a very wonderful post.

Rural transportation

This is the method of transportation used in the movement of goods, services and individuals from one place to another.

Now as to why they are called rural this is because of the share nature of the equipment being used in suvh areas.

The rural areas unlike the town areas aren't so developed, they reply on crude instruments to get the job done.

In the rural environment the main means of living hood is farming hence the main goods which are moved in the rural location are things such as farm produce and people.

Types of rural transportation

I like in the city where we have various advanced forms of transportation in the rural environment due to various factors such as bad road network, bad road, lack of infrastructural facility this methods of transportations can't be used there.

Bicycle

In tbe rural environment due to the harsh terrain and poor road the use of bicycle is very popular this is because bicycles offers users the opportunity to quickly manuever obstacles on the road.

The bicycle like we have seen in the image above is a two wheeled equipment which relies on kinetic energy which is generated when paddling to move .

Advantages of bicycle

---

1. Bicycle is very mobile this is so because of its small nature which makes it perfect for navigating difficult terians seen in the rural areas

2. Bicycles are cheap the cost of a bicycle in my county goes for around 30,000 naria(100 steem)

3. The use of bicycles are a form of exercise and it keeps it's users in shape .

Disadvantage of bicycles.

---

1. Bicycles offers no protection from environmental element such as the sun, rain , wind and others

2. Bicycles requires alot of energy to operate often times you can't ride bicycles for long due to lack of energy

3. Bicycles are veey easy to be stolen. this is so because of its portable nature .

Tricycle

This is the senior brother to bicycles as they come equips with a third wheels.

This in a sense is an improvement from bicycle as it offers stability and more space for carrying goods and individuals.

Advantages of tricycle

---

1. It is big: the tricycle offers those in the rural areas the opportunity to carry more goods or individuals from place to place.

2. It has balance : due to the third wheel the tricycle has more balance and it able to do alot of quick maneuvers

3. They are easy to assemble: with a little knowledge know in the rural areas can quickly assembly the parts of the tricycle this comes in handle when any part spoilt as they can be easily taken apart and put together.

Disadvantage of tricycle

1. Not everyone can afford the tricycle , unlike the bicycle the tricycle is really expensive by contract.
   A typical tricycle ranges from 600,000 to 800,000 naria (2000-2700 steem)

2. It pollutes the environment. The tricycle unlike the bicycle runs on petroleum and this pollutes the environment.

3. Not everyone one in the rural areas can operate a tricycle this poses a major problem as this means for transportation is now only available to those knowledgeable few.

Conclusion

This brings me to the end of my post.
