Introduction

Goodday everyone, season three of the engagement challenge is almost getting to an end. We are left with barely a week to go. It is getting interesting as days passes by with much challenge to participate.
Steem for better has chosen a topic that every body needs in life. What am I talking about? I am talking about motivation, that driving force that moves people to action.

I will be explaining why a little bit of motivation can go a long way in my own understanding.

In this challenge, contestants were asked to pick two characters and talk about, so I will be talking about Merida (BRAVE) and The Blue fairy (PINOCCHIO)

You may asked why I choose these two characters. Let look at them again and see the motivating words under it.

In the above screenshot, you can see that Merida says that Our fate lives within us and that we can only be brave enough to see it.
Meaning that without being brave, we can't be successful and our success also depends on us. The way we live our life determined if we will succeed or not. We need to plan for our life well in order to get the good we want in life. Being brave is the habit we need to pratice and adopt. We don't have to blame anyone for any failure in life and so we really need to work hard, lay our bed in such a way that we will enjoy lying on it. We also need to believe in ourselves and have a positive mindset.

And now let's look at the Blue fairy.

The Blue Fairy say we should alway let our conscience to be our guide.
What does Blue fairy mean here?.

Here the Blue fairy mean that it is good to listen to our conscience because it can be a good guide to us. But the question is what if your conscience is not right?
Our conscience work based on the individual way of life or lifestyle. If our conscience is properly trained, it will always guide us to the right track and if its not properly trained, it guidance will not be good even for us. We have to strengthen our conscience by always thinking right and not suppressing it when it blames us. We need to respond to the blames and act promptly. When we apply these, our conscience will be our guide and it will guide us ti right paths.

From the above two characters, you can see that, being brave is necessary if we really want to be successful and with a good conscience that guide us well our life will not meet failure.

Do you think the statement “A little bit of motivation can go a long way” is true or false? Explain your answer.

I strongly agree with the above-mentioned quote that a little motivation can go a long way. We need to be motivated from time to no matter who we are and what we do. People usually moved and act on what they hear. Knowing that words and actions can discourage people in doing certain things, it is that same word that usually encourage people to action. This time, the word is called 'motivation'. When people talk to us about the things we should do in life, it usually moves us to action. Even in steemit, we need that words of encouragement called motivation to continue being an active steemian.
Everyone needs motivation, no matter the age, status and achievements in life.

Why motivation is important to me as a person?

Like I earlier mentioned, when I am motivated, I will be moved to action. I will do the things I felt I won't be able to do them. Motivation is that word that always tells me, you can do it. When I am motivated, I will be able to solve those problems I thought were too difficult for me and I will have goals to work hard on and thereby changing my bad habits and giving me a new energy that moves me to action. When I am motivated, it will help me to achieve those goals that I thought were not attenable.

Do you motivate others? Give two examples

I regularly and almost on a daily basis motivate others. In real life, I motivate others based on the situation I find the person. I motivate others in words and in deeds. I also motivate others by being kind and showing hospitality.

In Steemit, I motivate others by encouraging them to continue being active irrespective of thier circumstances. To those who stop posting because they don't know what to post, I will send them some of the links to my post where I usually make for them to learn from it and try to develop thier own post.
I motivate both newbies and old users by creating a WhatsApp group where I encourage them from time to time and also drop some update from the steemitblog for them to be updated.

I also motivate others by showing them my earning and the amount of steem power I have accumulated so far.

The habits I have created to increase motivating myself.

To keep motivating myself, I am creating 'I can do it habit'. Hahaa , what kind of habit is that one? You may asked.
It is the habit that always moves me to keep trying no matter how difficult the task or situation may be. With I can do it habit, I will not give way to doubts and I will be working hard so as to achieve my goals which at the end brings happiness and satisfaction.
I will also have to set both short term and long term goal that are attenable and work hard to achieve it.

Conclusion

Motivation is what everyone needs in life to succeed in our various endeavours. We need to be motivated by other to act and work harder. We should also be ready to motivate others too. At this juncture, I am on the opinion that those who motivate others are those who also receive motivation from others.
We need to motivate and be motivated.
