Time management is the ability to harness and make effective use of the amount of time available in a day.
It is a technical and disciplined act of assigning duties or task to specific times and performing these tasks duly. The ability to manage ones time efficiently shows discipline in an individual.
How necessary is the "Time Management" in our lives today? |

For effective performance of our duties and responsibilities it is of necessity that we learn how to manage our time. Good use of time ensures discipline and eliminates procastination.
With this, it is obvious how relevant time management is important for success in our daily lives and duties.
In the world of today, an average individual has so many responsibilities to attend to and task with due dates to perform. This is were the value of time management once applied can showcase it's relevance.
How helpful is time management to create order in our lives? |

Time management enables us to know what to carry out at each time of the day. It helps us to know when to perform a task, when to rest, to take a nap and also to get back to work.
Knowing when to perform each task for a day definitely ensures order in our lifes. This way our duties are equally distributed in a way that ensures that we are not overly playing around/resting or performing to much work at a particular time. This ensures orderliness in carrying out our daily activities.
How do you manage your daily time according to important tasks? |

When taking mental notes of the activities I have to perform a day. I always ensure to place the most important and urgent ones first. That way the best part of my day when I am refreshed and recharged is spent on these ones so I don't end up procastinating them.
After the important ones are done, the other task for the day fall under. This is a safe and most advisable method to adopt.
What lessons have you learned by using time management? |

Effective management of time helps to prevent a lot of passive attitude in work. It helps you get things done at the right time hence avoiding risk of last minute work under pressure. It helps to balance your work.
With due application of discipline, time management can aid in handling laziness, procastination and other slacking attitude to work.
Time managed well is time spent well but time spent slacking off is time lost meanwhile duties ignored are not lost but adds up leaving you with much work but little time.
How do you do your time management or any method you have ? |

I try to set a time table and stick to it and I can say that I have written lots of those right from my secondary school days. I followed them for some time and eventually ended up abandoning them.
This is because they were written based on a present motivation. What I didn't understand was that motivation and inspiration was not enough to maintain this new path. I needed something that could still drive me even when I felt less motivated.
That's where discipline comes to play. Applying discipline to time management is the best method I can proffer. It makes it clear what you are truly fighting against, yourself.
