RE: Why are things always missing?
Ha-ha, very nice! Thanks!
you do the washing and you put 2 socks in the wash, yet there are always one missing
No, definitely no! I never lost any of my socks. My personal explanation to this: I prove the socks to go paired into the washing machine. While emptying the machine, I hang them paired. If there is one missing, I can be sure to find it within the machine (easily to be not seen on a dark place as I weare black socks or dark blue ones). And so I find it. Or I find it to be fallen while taking some other clothing out of the machine. But in the end (and - important to know - within two minutes or less) my socks hang paired for drying. No escapism!
;-)
For glasses: a friend of mine experienced something like your father in law, and while looking for his glasses, he nowadays first puts one hand before his eyes: "Am I wearing my glasses??" You might imagine how I laughed...
;-))
Well you got me laughing!
I must try your way, pair the socks before they go in. I might just be able to find the culprit. The one who put the socks or sock into the washing basket in the first place. (•ิ‿•ิ)
Wishing you an awesome week!!
I knew you would get the missing link...!
An awesome week also for you!
Thank you! Let's make the most of it (•ิ‿•ิ)
And now the song remains:
Check the socks,
Yeah the socks
Before you drop them
To the machine
Find the sock
Yeah the sock
Which comes so lonely
To the washing
Call the one
Yeah the one
Who left who left it
To your hands
To the washing
To the machine
(to be grinded on heavy metal)
Go away!
I'm going to have this in my head until I go to bed! (•ิ‿•ิ)
So cool! Laughing out very loud...!
