[#BURNSTEEM25] - Bringing the Groom to the Wedding Party as a procession of Acehnese Customs and Culture.

The pleasant morning atmosphere, with the bright morning sun, makes the weekend sure to be fun. This morning my wife and I had to fulfill an invitation from my neighbour, who lives in front of my parents' house, to ask me to accompany the groom, in Acehnese it is called Intat Lintoe Baroe, escorted to the bride's house as a place for the wedding party .

Around 9.00 Wib I arrived at the groom's house. His house is not too far from my house, so I can come sooner, as well as to receive guests who are invited to accompany the Groom (Linto Baro). The location for the groom is not so far away, still in the same city, namely Lhokseumawe City. This event is an Acehnese traditional cultural activity in the traditional marriage procession in Aceh Province.

Around 10.30 Wib all the invited guests for the "Linto Baro" have gathered at the groom's house in our village. The Groom's Entourage is ready to leave for the Groom, we call it Intat Linto Baro.

Because everything is ready, the bride and groom have also been decorated using Aceh traditional clothes. At around 10.30 Wib , the introductory group was ready to go to the Bride's place. The destination is Mon Geudong Village, not so far from our village, only 15 minutes away.

This activity must be carried out as an Acehnese Cultural Custom which is still being preserved and carried out by the Acehnese people in the process of marriage stages in Aceh.

When our group arrived at the bride's place, the procession of the wedding party began immediately. From the remarks from Mr. Geuchiek as the head of Mon Geudong Village, he gave a speech.

Then after "Linto Baro" or the groom was invited to enter and sit in a special place then we were greeted by Acehnese dances by Acehnese maidens, they brought the Ranup Lampuan dance. At this event the groom as our group also brought various Acehnese specialties, various fruits, young coconuts, bananas and a set of women's clothes and jewelry as gifts for the bride (we call it Dara Baroe).

Then the groom's family is greeted by the bride's entourage to be invited in and directed to the dining table which has prepared various Acehnese specialties to entertain the groom's group. The food provided is very tasty and delicious, all of these foods are Acehnese specialties.

After the lunch together, the next Acehnese traditional event is the Peusijuek event, which is the Acehnese traditional process of giving Blessings and Prayers to the bride and groom so that the bride and groom live happily as husband and wife. All the invited guests congratulated them both as new brides.

Furthermore, the bride and groom are invited to sit side by side on the aisle that has been beautifully decorated and all invited guests can congratulate them on becoming husband and wife.

At around 14.30 Wib, me and my entourage of the groom said goodbye to the bride's family to go home. Even so, the wedding party was still running until the afternoon in the village.

Because the invited guests are still busy arriving to congratulate the bride and groom. They are invited guests, most of whom are invited by the bride.

This is my explanation of Aceh's customs and culture regarding the procession of wedding party activities in Aceh.
