𝟱 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗞𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦👫

Hello steemians I wish I could tell you that every part of our life is a long list of not giving a tinker's damn what anyone else thinks or say about us, but that wouldn't be true no matter how much you wanna set an example for anyone else. No matter how you don't wanna give a damn about what people say about you, deep down, words have effects in us.

Jokes such as:

✓. Their Physical Appearances-
Remarks like: "You are short, too tall, see your potty belly, you're ugly, you're fat, I don't even know what attracted me to you". In the end, we say it was a joke. A joke on someone's physical appearance? That hurt

You said it the first time, they took it as a joke, you're repeating it again the second and third and many more times. That's no longer a joke but a mockery. God made us different so we could appreciate His artwork in one another. I won't start sharing heart touching stories, but all these silly jokes that won't promote one's dignity, at all means, let's refrain from it.

✓. Family Background-
If you happen to meet someone that the family isn't so rich or maybe they are, don't keep reminding your partner about it. Or if there's some lacking in there that you aren't comfortable with, some words are better left unsaid. Learn to swallow those words so they don't swallow you.

Your partner knows his people more than you do, what they do and don't do. Don't make a caricature of it, that's no joke.

✓. Financial Status-
Part of choosing your partner is cleaving to build with and also support them. There is no point telling the world what you did or have been doing, otherwise, it no longer supports but business.

✓. Weakness-
You know what your partner's flaws are. It could be jealousy, overeating, prayerlessness, etc. Don't use it against them. Don't do something that you know will keep them down because of that. You know a particular action or words that you keep up, which makes them showcase this weakness, if you say you love them, you'll help them by refraining from those things too.

✓. Academic and Social Status- You may have been fortunate enough to have earned up to your Master's or P.hd degree, while your partners haven't. All boast about degrees should end in the four corners of your university, don't take them home. It's better for your partner' to praise you than for you to praise yourself. As this may eventually give room for negative comparisons and criticisms.

On Social status, if you are an extrovert and you happen to meet an introvert, remember when you're in the public place, carry your partner along, don't make them feel lonely. Your personality was to complement their, eventually, you're their backbone. Don't act like you're doing them any favors. You're only strengthening the bonds you've together.

P.s: If you must joke, joke with each other, there are many things to joke about but when the joke becomes one-sided, quickly deviate for the road that seems right always appear very wide but the end is destruction. Don't let that become of your relationship.
