The role of water in saving life is immense.

Water In Bangladesh, most of the population has access to basic drinking water, but this water is contaminated by bacteria. Every day, 6 percent and 17 percent of people in Bangladesh, respectively, walk long distances to drink water. The country's freshwater supply is seriously threatened, and diseases are rising.

Many people worldwide still lack access to adequate water, ensuring everyone has access to clean water and sanitation by 2030. To achieve this goal, Water Day is observed on March 22 every year. According to numerous reports by the World Bank, World Health Organization, and UNICEF, 98% of the population has access to some form of water source in Bangladesh.
