Today, I am actually here to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Week 04 of Season 03. this publication is actually for the STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE community and the topic of discussion for today's contest is The Role of Various Genders. So, let's start the task without any wastage of time.

Does gender play a role in our everyday life?

---

Actually, nature has divided all human beings into two basic characters which are known as genders. Genders are actually the features of a human being that cause a distinction between him and her. In simple, there are a few specificities that are linked to Gender A (males) while the other specificities are linked to Gender B (females). This distinction is known as gender and the two different identities that came into view are called as males and females.

So, in the answer to the above question, I would like to say, Yes. Genders play a very important role in our daily lives. Actually, the life of a new individual came into existence due to the compromise of two-parent individuals and those two individuals are actually different in sex (gender). So, we can never ignore the importance of either males or females in society. Actually, a successful society is that in which both genders are equal and there is no distinction on the basis of gender.

Actually, males and females both are important for the success and the completion of the world. If we consider the world without women then we could realize that the world is incomplete and the case will be the same if we imagine the existence of the world without men. Where the men earn the livelihood for the children and their family members, there the women give their services to their families.

How does the role or function in your country differ from gender to gender?

If we talk about the function of different genders in our beloved country, then I would like to say that there are actually two opinions and actually minds on this matter. The rules of Pakistan allow women to enjoy all the basic needs of life and it is the part of the laws ad articles that women are allowed to enjoy all the basic rights as a human, but there are also some limits to this regulation.

It is highly appreciated that Pakistan is one of the countries that is working and actually fighting for gender equality and the laws of Pakistan in this matter are evidence of this statement. Now, almost two third of the total population of Pakistan consists of the female gender. So, it's a very large ratio. It is also interesting to know that the women of Pakistan are working in different fields along with the men to support the economy of the country.

Gender equality in our country can be guessed by the following facts the women of Pakistan are now taking an active part in politics, health departments, education, sports, and many more. The first ever Pakistani female politician was "Benazir Bhutto". She worked as the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the betterment of the whole nation and his efforts to improve the economy of Pakistan are really appreciated.

If we talk about the sports industry then I would like to say that women are also a warm part of the sports departments of our country. There are many international female athletes from our country and there are also hockey, football, squash, and cricket teams for Pakistani women. Also, women are equally taking part in the army services as pilots, doctors, nurses, fighter pilots, etc. In short, the females of Pakistan are highly supported in every field.

Also, our religion Islam also gave all of the basic rights to Muslim women. Islam is not against the working of women in public places but it is against the negativity that is caused by the mixing of males and females at the working places. If there is a peaceful environment in the working places then the women are allowed to work there and support the males of their families. So, we can conclude that women are equally important as men but there are some limitations for women.

But if we see the other side of the picture, there are also some cold-minded people who are against the basic rights of women. They are those people who think that getting an education is a sin for women, job is not allowed for the female gender. No doubt, women's education is the basic need of our society and actually every society in the world. This is because a well-educated mother gives birth to a successful child. I would like to conclude this discussion in the line below.

"Well-disciplined mothers can give birth to a well-disciplined nation."

Is it the same for other countries?

If I will talk about the place of women in society by considering the frame of reference in the form of the whole world then I can say the place of women is peaceful in most of the world and the rest of the world is facing the gender equality problem. Most Islamic countries pay special attention to the basic needs and rights of women and I think it is highly appreciated.

It is good to know that most of the countries in Europe are also working for equality of gender. I think gender equality is also a serious issue for many of countries. There are such countries in the world that are facing this issue as they do not allow their women to work along with the men to support them. There are several restrictions for the women like they are supposed to be bound to the four walls of the house, education is a sin for them, and taking part in politicians is also hated.

A general view of life is that although the dominant gender in life is male but can never neglect the importance of the female character as a male himself came into existence because of his mother that is a female. Education is a basic need of life so it is very important to take special care of the education of both of genders in the country. Also, the rules and laws of the countries should be equal for both the female and the male characters as well.

What About Steemit?

Basically, gender equality is the basic need of every ecosystem, and I feel proud to be a part of such a platform where gender equality is always kept in mind. There is no issue of the gender difference here on Steemit. Actually, it is a platform where hard work, quality content, passion, and consistency is always supported irrespective of the gender differences of the users. All of the users behaved and dealt with equally.

The male ones, as well as, the female Steemians are also taking part in every event on the platform and they are supported and rewarded equally. If we talk about the selection of the Country Representatives, then this is the best example that happened very recently, it has been seen that there is no favor for a specific gender there, all of the CRs were selected on the basis of their work, passion and their activities on the platform.

It is highly appreciated that both genders are playing their respective roles on the Steemit platforms. All communities support the quality content irrespective of the female or male favor. It can be clearly seen that both, men and women are successful on the platform. If we talk about the successful women Steemians then we can never ignore the work of @ngoenyi, @patjewell, and many more.

On the other hand, if we talk about the successful Steemians on the platform then we can surely mention sir @kouba01, @alejos7ven, @fredquantum, and many more. So, we can see that both genders are working equally on the platform irrespective of gender favor.

Conclusions

Gender Equality is the basic need of every society and the world is incomplete without the presence of either males or females. Actually, male and female genders are just like two wheels of a vehicle, and if any of the wheels is not present then the car of life cannot continue its journey. Gender Equality is highly appreciated in our country, as well as, in our religion Islam. If we talk about gender equality in different geographical areas then it is good to know that overall, gender equality has a peaceful shape. So, in short, both males and females are necessary for the existence of life on the planet earth.
