Greetings, Everyone. Sending my love and good wishes to everyone. Hope everyone is doing fantastic. I am participating in the Travel Contest - Have You Been Here, Season 7. Thank you @irawandedy for organizing this beautiful contest. To participate in the contest I got a wonderful place that can attract your mind to visit this place. I visited Nilshagor Lake a few weeks ago. It's a beautiful lake. I will try to share everything about this place with you.

Why do I like the place?

---

I love to visit a place that can offer us a pleasant atmosphere. I like an environment where there are a lot of trees. I prefer a secluded spot with chirping birds. And walk through the rows of trees where there are shadows and glimmers of sunlight and sometimes I will walk or sit and enjoy the birds singing and the epic form of nature. Apart from all these, if there is a lake there, I will spend the afternoon sitting by the pond and enjoying the sunset or spending time sitting at the edge of the lake.

The place that is blessed with such natural beauty is Nilsagar Lake. The lake is located in the Nilphamari district of Bangladesh. It's about 49 kilometers away from our city. This lake is very old. It is believed that a king dug this lake.

The lake is four-cornered and the lake is surrounded by innumerable plants. It is a sanctuary for the visiting birds of our country. There are many unknown trees, birdsong, a huge lake, a children's park, and an excellent environment to enjoy. The kind of natural environment that I like is present all over Nilsagar Lake. And so I like this place very much.

What public facilities are available there so that visitors feel comfortable?

Nilsagar Lake includes several mind-blowing public facilities. The lake is spread over such a huge area that it will take you quite some time to go around the whole place. There are plenty of seating areas so that you don't get tired while walking around the lake, so you can sit and rest when you get tired.

Apart from the common seating area, there are some advanced lounges. This facility is arranged in the middle of the trees so that you can sit at the resting place and observe the natural beauty here. A small rest house has been built here with government grants.

Another interesting facility is the natural support here. Natural help means you don't have to worry about the heat of the sun if you visit this place during the summer. Because here you don't have to face any difficulty in walking in the shade of trees.

And there are public toilets and dustbins here. These facilities are arranged so that the environment here is not polluted in any way. Bathing is prohibited in the lake so that the lake water does not get polluted.

Children love to visit the park. Nilsagar Lake also has a children's park. So if you are visiting this park with kids then you will find facilities for kids entertainment.

There are shrines for Muslims and Hindus. This facility is for those who are pious and who do not hesitate to show their obedience to their Lord even during a trip.

You can also do light shopping while visiting Nilsagar Lake. These shopping stores offer girls' ornaments, children's toys, gift items, home decor items, etc. Apart from this, there are several food stalls where several kinds of delicious food are available.

An important public facility is the transportation system. This lake is located in a place where transportation is good. The roads that you will find to travel to this tourist spot are well developed and you will not have to suffer while traveling through these roads. There are no traffic jams and the vehicles available here can take you to Nilsagar Lake very quickly.

I believe that the healthy environment here, along with the above pleasant facilities will give visitors a comfortable travel experience.

How much does it cost, tickets or anything to visit the place?

Only the transportation cost to visit Nilsagar Dighi is a bit high. Because the place is a little far from Nilphamari city. However, this cost is affordable. And to enter the lake area you need to spend only 0.18 USD per ticket, which is very cheap.

And the price of everything in the lake area is not so expensive. Because there is nothing expensive here. Food, cosmetics, toys, and home decor items are all affordable here. So all travel expenses are affordable for people of any level.

This lake is a traditional place in Bangladesh. The main attraction here is the natural wonders of the lake. It is also a historical place. It is believed that this lake used to be one of the sources of water for the people of this region.

It is also a sanctuary for migratory birds. Many species of migratory birds come here in winter. Due to the protected environment of the lake, free migration of birds can be observed here, and if one visits here in winter, I hope you will see beautiful Migratory birds.

Indeed it's a fantastic place. So I recommend you to visit this exciting place to enjoy the spectacular display of nature and to know the history of this lake.
