Dear Steemian friends

With the launch of WSP SA, a promise was made to the users of the platform that transparency will be key and that regular feedback regarding the financial position will be given.
This feedback is not just for the users but also for the team as it is a fantastic opportunity to see how the program is performing financially.

It gives me great pleasure to present the first week's performance to you.

The project

As mentioned before the first project will be launched with Cedarwood Learning Centre, in Ballito, South Africa. A school that received no support funding from the government and who must subsidize its teachers while it is doing its best to educate children with disabilities, who were bullied attending a normal school, and children who experienced difficulties learning.

WSP SA is hoping to put smiles on the faces of these children by donating a touch interactive whiteboard system. This will enable the teachers to involve the children in active learning. This technology is a great equalizer for teaching children with special needs while engaging them on a different level and by keeping them engaged.

Budget

The cost for this Interactive Whiteboard System will be R 6 099 (South African Rand) = +/- 2031 STEEM

When the project was launched a week ago on 11 November 2022, the funds available were as follows;

One week later, on 18 November 2022, we have seen tremendous growth where the funds nearly doubled.
