Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W4: My 5 senses

Hi steemians,
It is yet another great opportunity to participate in the steemit engagement challenge for this last week of season 5. You will agree with me that the season has been a very interesting one as it came with lots of interesting contest topics from week number 1 to this very last week.

As of this week, the topic is quite very unique because we are to use our diary to explain our 5 senses. Everyone uses his/her senses every single day provided they have these senses in them. Today my diary goes like this, I will be explaining what I see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

Today, after my morning devotion, I decided to work a little bit on the steemit platform and during my time as a moderator in the @steem4nigeria community, I saw a lot of interesting articles some of which are very good content whereas others are of very low quality. Immediately I was able to cover a few grounds on the platform I excused myself and took my bath and went directly to the school.

Immediately after I finished what took me to school, I decided to go to the market and make a few purchases of things I was not having at home. While in the market I saw a lot of people selling and buying. In my case, I decided to only purchase a tuber of yam and half a crate of eggs. The egg cost 1100 NGN which is equivalent to about 5.2 steem based on the current price of steem. One tuber of yam cost 500 NGN which is equivalent to 2.4 steem.

I heard a lot of noise in the market because everyone was in for his or her own business. People were very busy discussing the prices of their items and making transactions with others, some other people were busy exchanging pleasantly with friends. Immediately I arrived home, I heard music being played in a barbing salon which is close to my house.

I wasn't too comfortable with the music so I decided to go to a friend's shop which is on the roadside to relax and then write down my article but the movement of motorbikes to and fro also became a major challenge. I stayed for some time and did the little I can.

After staying out for a while, I decided to go back home and continue writing my article there. Immediately I came closer to the house, I heard a very nice aroma, it was a stew that is been prepared by my neighbour. I immediately told her that I'm very interested in the food she was cooking. She said no issues and that I should wait patiently as she tries to finish up.

I tasted the food immediately after she finished cooking it. The rice and stew were very sweet and tasty and I ate till I got satisfied. She also added some salad to the rice and it looked very beautiful as well. I took the food with a sachet of cold pure water which she offered to me to accompany the delicacy. That is what I tasted today.

As of today, I touched a lot of things like computers, the food I ate, the things I bought from the market and many more. My phone is always in my hands also. So I did the touching of many things. Even before posting my article when I was done writing I had to fetch water from the bucket and take my bath.

My 5 senses are always taken into use every day of my life. Every normal person in this life makes use of the five senses every day and at every time. Today I have been able to share my diary using my five senses and I want to invite a few of my friends to also participate for those who have participated, let them also have a glance at my article today.
