First season || Second episode || The Haunted Mansion

Hi all!

Opening shot of Scrooge McDuck's mansion, the camera pans over to show that it looks abandoned, overgrown with weeds and boarded up windows.

The camera cuts to Scrooge, sitting in his armchair, with a worried expression on his face. He is holding a letter.

Scrooge: "Boys! Boys! Gather 'round! I've got a problem."

Huey, Dewey, and Louie all run into the room.

Huey: "What is it, Uncle Scrooge?"

Scrooge: "I've just received a letter from an old friend, he's the owner of a mansion that's been in his family for generations. But recently it's been haunted by strange occurrences and he's unable to sell it."

Dewey: "Wow! That sounds like an exciting mystery to solve!"

Scrooge: "That it is, my boy! We'll need to pack our bags and head to the mansion right away!"

The boys all cheer and begin to pack their bags.

Cut to the McDuck's plane flying over the countryside, they land in front of a large mansion that looks abandoned and decrepit. They meet up with Scrooge's friend, who is visibly worried.

Friend: "Welcome, Scrooge! I'm glad you could make it. I need your help, this mansion has been in my family for generations but recently strange things have been happening and I'm unable to sell it."

Scrooge: "Don't worry, my boy. We'll get to the bottom of this."

The group enters the mansion, and as soon as they do, strange occurrences begin to happen. Objects move on their own, ghostly figures appear, and strange noises echo through the halls. The group splits up to investigate.

Huey and Dewey find an old diary in the library, which reveals that the previous owner, a wealthy businessman, had made a deal with the devil in exchange for wealth and power.

Louie discovers that the previous owner had sealed a demon inside the walls of the mansion, and it's been causing the hauntings.

Scrooge, using his cunning and intelligence, devises a plan to trap the demon and put it to rest. With the help of his nephews, they successfully trap the demon and seal it back in the walls, putting an end to the hauntings.

Scrooge: "We did it boys! We've solved the mystery of the haunted mansion."

Huey: "Thanks, Uncle Scrooge! That was one spooky adventure."

Scrooge: "I couldn't have done it without you boys. Now my friend can sell his mansion without any worries."

The group exits the mansion, and the episode ends with a shot of them flying off into the sunset in their plane, having solved another mystery.
