HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
Today is a special day in my life, the day I was born into the world. Unfortunately, I ended up being a Nigerian. If only we had the privilege of picking the country we want to live in from heaven before coming to earth… lol.
Well, as I sit down here reflecting on my journey so far on earth, I can comfortably say I’m really grateful to God for how far I’ve come and the giant strides I’ve experienced.

If you come from a country like Nigeria, you will know that there is a difference between “six and half a dozen.” Life down here hasn’t been a bed of roses; it's all man for himself. There have been moments of doubt and challenges that seemed too great to overcome, but these challenges have helped build me into the person I am today. I’ve learned lessons from my mistakes and emerged wiser and stronger.

I’m not where I want to be, but I’m not where I used to be. Every birthday, I strive to be better and achieve greater heights. When I look in the mirror, the reflection I see is a person who is a testament to dedication and hard work. I’ve smashed goals, and I’m happy with the significant progress I’ve made.

Through it all, my faith in God has never wavered. The guidance from God is what has brought me this far and has elevated me above my peers. I am so thankful to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon me and for being my source of joy during challenging times.

As I celebrate this special day in my life, I am looking forward to a year filled with great adventures and memories. I will live life to the fullest each day and, most importantly, I’m delighted about the opportunities that are yet to come.
I also want to use this opportunity to appreciate my Steemit friends, who have, in their little ways, helped me through upvotes and guided me on how to improve my posts on Steemit and other crypto-related stuff. Here’s to another year of greatness, blessings, and growth.

It would be interesting to know if we chose our parents and the place of our birth. Some people think we did. I don't know and when I see some lives, it's hard to believe.
But what I do know is that our ancestors are good counsellors. When I have to make difficult decisions or in certain situations, my parents or grandparents often come to mind: what would they have done? And suddenly I realise what to do and then there's no more doubt.

A lot of parents do play their roles properly, that’s why growing up we always see our parents as our role models to guide us. Indeed those things we learn has helped shaped us to who we’re today…
