The Latest Trends In My Locality.
Glory be to God for another brand new day in the Steamit family, truly the happenings these days need to be broadcast so that everybody would know how to be smart when going to other places. I so much like these contest themes brought to us by @goodybest.
It will help us know the current trends in some of the location which will in turn helps us to know the red zones and the time time to enter and exit. The things that are happening now are a result of the hardship that is going on in the country.
I live in the Masaka area of Karu local government Nasarawa state.
The recent trend in my community is rubbery and it is new to us in the community which keeps me wondering every day, if the current situation in the country continues then, it will be every man for himself, for nobody will trust anyone again.
My area was very calm and devoid of crime that is happening now before I could beat my chest and tell you to come stay at my place for it is peaceful and free from crime, but now the reverse is the case where people no longer wake up very early to go to their place of work for the fear of crime.
We used to go to early morning jogging, where we would wake up at 4 pm and run a distance of about 7-8 kilometers and come back to our houses peacefully, but now anything that would make you go out around that same time for jogging means that you don't like yourself because that is the time for robbery in the area.
But despite they would not get anything from the joggers apart from the phone that was no longer hold for the fear that they would collect it from us, we are distracting their activities for their target is the workers that will go to work early in the morning. The workers has studied their tactics and no longer goes to work that early resulting in the worker not being punctual in their place of work.
These days they no longer see anybody to rub again, they decide to break into people's houses to rub them, but the good ones in the area also form a security group to defend the community against this art of robbery. The youth are divided into sections to help curtail the crime.

Hi Sammy this robbery case is rampant now, Akwa Ibom used to be known as a peaceful state, but this is no longer the case. This hardship has turned many into thieves. Well let's hope for the best, success!
