WHAT IS PROXY
Proxy can be defined as rightful authorization to act on behalf of someone else especially when it involves voting. Now you know the meaning of proxy, let's see how we utilize it on steemit.

HOW PROXY WORKS
Proxy deals with witnesses and those are the people that maintain the servers that produces our Blockchain. Literally, this tool is used to vote a witness on steemit with least amount of effort.

Using this proxy option allows another account to make all the witness votes on behalf of the user that choose the proxy. For example, if you set User01 as a proxy, you will continuously vote for all the witnesses I do. To set a proxy is a lot of trust because the user we proxy has an obligation to make the votes count and represent our interests in the Steem World.

A proxy can be changed at any time for some reasons which may include been removed to allow for individual voting or swapped to another user making modifications instant.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A PROXY
To be able to choose a good proxy, we must know the qualifications of them. An ideal proxy must be able to do these things:

• Must be checking witness votes at least once a week and most likely daily to see if witnesses are online, blocks that were missed and even updates.
• Must be able to place votes where it'll be good for steem including voting for active witnesses that contribute the most.
• Must/will be aspiring to becoming an active witness, or has a close relationship with the witness community e.g steemit.chat, discord etc.
• Must have a substantial investment in Steem power, Curation and posting.

HOW TO USE PROXY INFO TO CHECK PROXY WITNESSES

To check proxy witnesses isn't that hard, and these are the steps you need to take:

Step 1: Go into Steemworld.org and log in with your active keys.

Step 2: Scroll down until you find an option saying "Proxy Info" and click on it.

Step 3: After clicking on it, you'll be greeted with layout.

Step 4: To check for who was used as a proxy, I inputted Steemchiller and set it to Incoming Proxied( this means people who set Steemchiller as a proxy) and clicked refresh, I waited for some seconds and then the list was shown.

Step 5: To check Steemchiller outgoing proxied( People he set as proxy) I inputted his name, then set the option to outgoing (proxied by) and then click refresh, but no list popped up because Steemchiller didn't set anyone as a proxy.

CONCLUSION
