Gratitude:

Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can make a big difference in our lives. It is simply a pure feeling of appreciation of what we've gotten, what we have, and the people in our lives. It is the feeling of being thankful for the little things that seems not to matter in our lives. It is a way of acknowledging the positive aspect of our life experiences. Gratitude is also about appreciating the present moment, hoping possitively for the future, and recorgnizing the people and things that brings us joy.

Why gratitude matters alot

Firstly, gratitude is a key ingredient in happiness. As it's said that happiness tends to lower levels of depression and anxiety, gratitude helps us to fully experience and appreciate the good things in our lives, rather than taking them for granted. This helps us to feel more positive emotions like happiness and contentment.
Secondly, gratitude helps us to be more resilient to life challanges and adversities. Gratitude helps us think differently about our situation and experiences positively, instead of dwelling on the negative. It makes us focus on the good things about our situations.
Finally, gratitude helps to increase our self-esteem and confidence. When we are grateful for the little things we have, we're less likely to compare our selves with others, or become envious of what they have. This boosts our self-esteem and confidence.
In addition, gratitude helps us appreciate the present moment, and gives us hope for a better tomorrow.

My act of gratitude

First and foremost, I'm always and forever will be grateful to the almighty God for giving me life and the previlage of waking up every morning, going out and returning home safely every single day.
I thank him for the ability to breath in oxygen freely without any obstruction. For this course, i humbly go down on my knees in prayer of gratitude and appreciation. I thank him for the life he has given me because, when there's life, there's hope.
I also appreciate my parents, for seeing me through my childhood to this very moment and not giving up despite the challanges of life. For this course, i hold them darely in my heart.
I have also cultivated the habit of always showing appreciation and saying "thankyou" for any good done to me, no matter how little.

How to make gratitude a habit, and inculcating it in young once

It's said that children learn quickly from the enviroment, that is, what they see and experience from their surrounding. In order to inculcate the habit of gratitude in these young once, we the adults need to model it ourselves. Children learn by watching the adults live their lives, so it's important to show them how to always show gratitude. This can be done by always talking to them about the things worth being grateful for and the importance of gratitude.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it's clear that gratitude is a very important quality of our lives. It can improve our physical and mental health, our relationships, and our perception about life. By showing gratitude, we can make a real difference in our own lives and the lives of others. So next time i'm feeling down, i'll try to always remember to take a moment to think about the things i'm grateful for, and to also see the positive part of any situation. And if you're raising children, remember to help them learn the importance of gratitude as well. Together, we can create a world filled with grateful people.
