I love musea like these. Not only watching but also experiencing. It's amazing how people who could rarely swim sail such ships and discover the world. Today most of us cannot even find their way without google maps. We lost all our skils. No way wecan build ships like these today, sew those sails. Kind of sad if you consider that.
There were many more boats like this there. I was really impressed by their creativity. And we really had a great time visiting this museum. What my son enjoyed the most was the opportunity to touch and operate the various ship's machinery. Old artwork is always valuable and inspiring.
My son is a bit naughty. I couldn't stop him from operate the equipment (he wasn't just operate it, he started pulling it). Seeing his mischief, a museum caretaker finally came and explained it to him. (He was allowed to touch the equipment but not break it, 😁 )
Thanks you my friend

I can imagine how great it was for your son to be allowed to operate the machinery. Lucky boy.
