Greetings friends

What a joy to be participating in the last season of our engagement challenge. Today I will be participating on a very interesting theme: The Role of the Various Genders. Gender equality has been a serious issue in the human race but before I spill out, I am inviting @b-naj, @chiabertrand and @tangwe-rene to join me participate on this engagement challenge.

The Role of the Various Genders

In simple words gender equality is the generally aspect of fair treatment between both sex(men and women), it can be in aspects as education, financial independence, and personal development. Gender inequality has been the story in the past Where women are not guaranteed their full potential as Men does.

Implementing gender equality and giving women the opportunity to explore their full potential can boost their contribution to the health, family responsibility and the country's social welfare which will be beneficial to everyone.

Does Gender Play A Role In Our Daily Life?

From my own point of view, Gender plays a big role in our society of today. Reasons being that the world is revolutionizing and so do people irrespective of their gender. I will justify this point with counter examples: unlike the early stage of revolution, where only men were viable to take responsibilities in certain post.

For instance there were no female presidents back then but today we have had female presidents like H:E Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia. This is a clear indication that gender is so far moving toward balance in our world of today.

During my undergraduate program, what I was told is that my trait was pursue by only men. And from the past year no female has featured in the department of mechanical engineering. To my greatest surprise, in my year I had up to four female for mechanical engineering and to make matter worse these female perform well even more than half of the men in my class.

I happen to picture one of them. Harmony who's been my study partner and friend and this is a clear indication that the role of gender equality is right at the Conner. A fair balance system.

How Does The Role Or Function In My Country Differ From Gender To Gender?

In Cameroon, gender equality has greatly taken the lead in many domains . There is no longer the need for differences as female are now eligible to top positions which use to be men's position only. Here are some of the aspect gender equality is fast applying in my country.

• There used to be this notion that the woman's place is the kitchen in many countries including mine but the tables have turn now. Women are engaging and becoming busy as Men and so there is division in domestic activities. Even cooking, men are cooking excellent in many home as of now. I myself Am train to take care of the home this like a female does.

• When we take a critical look at the job position in my country, it's been a total revolution as women now share equal post as Men at their jobsite. examples include lawyers, Member of parliament's, Senate, principals , managers etc.

• Looking at the cultural aspects, women are now eligible to cultural heritage just like men used to do in the past. gender equality has turn the cards around this time.

• When we look at dressing of past history women were not allow to put on some type of dresses believe to be for men only such as jeans, trousers but everyone is free to wear them nowadays.

Is It The Same For Other Countries?

The answer will go as NO. my country is social and is embodied with people from many ethnic groups and culture. In the U.S.A, gender equality is at the peak but most countries are still on the way to get balance. NOw let's move to the Arab countries.

These countries still have the mentality that majority of the work or almost all work should be done by men while the women stay at home including education or putting on some particular clothes. Thanks to western civilisation they are gradually adopting the gender equality role which is by far different from my country's.

What About Steemit?

Steemit is a decentralize platform where you can take yourself to the top simply by putting in hard work and no specific order is needed. In here, we have men and women as Mod, Admin, country representatives and lots more and all the selections comes about as a result of the users achievement and no because he or she is a male or female. We keep it simple here and encourage everyone to work hard to attend the height they wish on the platform. no discrimination.

CONCLUSION

Finally gender equality is here to stay and we all should adapt to the majors put in place to obtain a gender balance. We have to stop seeing women as weak or incapable but rather we should give them the chance to explore their talent. Statistics show that 1 of 5 men is liable to get a job as compared to 1 of 10 of women chances. this margin has to reduce and let all make the world a better place in favor of all gender.
