Train Service Begins Fully Operation in Port Harcourt

The people of Port Harcourt in River State have been over-excited since Saturday over the announcement of the train service on the Port Harcourt to Aba road that the federal government has promised would commence operations by the end of this month.
According to the News agency of Nigeria that came to the place and broadcast the goods to the people of Port Harcourt, the Port Harcourt to Aba rail project is one of the largest projects in Nigeria which the people of Port Harcourt would still enjoy traveling from port harcourt to Maiduguri using railway.
The managing director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, whose name is Mr. Fidet Okhiria was in Port Harcourt to disclose the goods news to Port Harcourt residents after his team ran a test on the construction of the railway station.
According to the managing director, speech he said,
"He said workers were currently putting finishing touches on the tracks to ensure that full train operations could begin within the month. The speech was given by Mr. Fidet Okhiria
Many that were at the place were happy with what they saw, according to the elderly woman she said that she is now happy as people will be able to ride the locomotive and wagon on the tracks to their destination.
Also, the minister of transportation, Mu’azu Sambo, when contacted on the telephone by the managing director of Rainway directed that the Port Harcourt routes should immediately be connected to rail as well as initiate the linkage of One Port, road, he said.
The people of Okhiria expressed their confidence in the contractors who constructed the railway for doing a good job using quality materials in building the railway for the people of Port Harcourt and Aba.
People who came from different places to witness the event were happy and wished to start making use of the railway in March 2024.
