#BURNSTEEM25 | Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W3: A little bit of motivation can go a long way by @predomina

Welcome everyone to week 3 of the steemit engagement challenge contest. Once again I must commend the steemit team for such a wonderful initiative so far. This week, the @steemforbetterlife community have organised a very interesting contest that goes with the title A little bit of motivation can go a long way. I will be writing on this topic via the questions listed below.

In this category, I will be talking about the two characters with the caption The Blue Fairy (Pinocchio) and Spongebob Squarepants. These two characters speak volumes as far as motivation is concerned. We are going to look at them one after the other.

According to the blue fairy, it says always let your conscience be your guide. This is indeed a very strong statement because our conscience is the only thing that can never deceive us no matter the situation. Even when people are deceiving you as a person, the only thing that will always remind you of the truth is your conscience. If you allow your conscience to be your guide, you will never have any regret because it will always tell you the right thing to do.

Spongebob Squarepants, says I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! This is indeed a very strong message which tends to keep us alive and also prepared for anything that may come our way be it good or bad. Being ready means you are prepared. In other to be successful in life, you need to be ready, you need to always be on alert. Students who stand out among their equals are those who are always ready.

The statement a little bit of motivation can go a long way is indeed true because life itself is not balanced hence everyone in the world needs a little bit of motivation. As we all try to live our lives in perfect condition here on earth, we need each other to continue the race. Even in the scriptures, the people of old had to get little motivation to keep their eyes focused on God. Most times they deviate when there is no motivation. This is the same in our world today.

Motivation is not for a group of people but everyone. Even the strongest of men will need to be encouraged once in a while to keep moving. We all have seen the importance of motivation even in the steemit platform. Most people come onto the platform and after a while, they will run away because their expectation has not been met and because they are not patient enough as well. So in other to keep ourselves together and continue the steemit journey we need to encourage ourselves.

The importance of motivation to me as a person can never be overemphasised the reason is that no one can stand strong for long without losing faith and hope. You need people to push you up anytime you are weak and tired and want to give up. Personally, the very reason I continued blogging is because of the motivation I get from people here on this platform via their achievement, targets and consistency. I initially had a plan to remain very consistent and ensure I drop at least one article every day on the platform but due to the instability of light in my area, I have failed for two days now.

I got this motivation from the article I read posted by other steemians. Before now I make only about 3 or 4 posts within a week which is a result of my laziness and absence of motivation but seeing how zealous some steemians are I got motivated and since then I have been working hard to do the same.

Yes, I do motivate others because I'm certain that any day I become weak too they will be the ones to motivate me to carry on the journey.

In other to motivate newbies I have recruited, I often guide them through the platform by ensuring that they do their achievement tasks and also show them those who started from scratch like them and how successful they have become. In this way, most of them keep the fire burning and work even harder to achieve their target.

Visiting members of the steemit platform in my area here who have lost focus on their goals and are not willing to work again. Visiting them gives them some sense of belonging and that alone will revive their spirits toward working harder. So I take out time most often to meet my fellow steemains and we discuss the way forward.

The habits one should create to keep motivating himself or herself most especially in this wonderful platform are listed below.

Motivating each other is all we need to be successful because no one has it all and no one can stand tall for long. When our hands grow weak for holding on, we all need people to support us so that we can achieve the desired goal. This topic is indeed a great one and I'm happy I'm able to present my entry.
