Why should one do so?

1. First impression is lasting impression or should I say, the early bird catch the worm
2. There are less entries to compete with posting earlier. Posted on the last day yours might get "lost" between all the others posted on the same day
3. Posting early allows for more comments which are often taken in consideration
4. Leaving the post for the last day might just leave you to rush your post not making it your best
