Hope is what keeps us going and one must never give up on Hope. No matter what twists and turns life gives us but the spark of Hope should always remain.
This post is my response to the contest of @irawandedy - Announcement | Hope Contest 5st Edition - Expectations in February and Realizations in January 2022
Being with Steem for the last 4 and a half years, I have seen it go up and down giving it's best potential results and showing it's lowest side. When it all started the scene was different and now it is something very different. It needs to be backed up by all Steemians in a very strong manner if we want to see it thrive. We should not live in a fool's paradise expecting it to grow by itself. With a hope that Steem will bounce back we must keep continuing to take actions that are necessary for Steem to grow.
The #Club75, #club5050, #club100 are a good initiative but then at the same time it should also be ensured that the voting that is happening by the big accounts are equally distributed and not just focused on a few people, which is another trend that I have been watching lately, as it also demotivates some. Instead of giving one person a very high vote, if it is broken up in smaller votes more people will be motivated to participate. There are some people who are working hard to make Steem successful, but we need more projects on Steem if we wish to see it successful and for that unity is also needed, and not that everyone works in silos.
We are talking about a Better Life with Steem, but to be very honest and blunt this Better Life is not coming if Steem keeps continuing to function in the way it is now. Blurt has been one good e.g. to check in terms of it's growth.
I have been constantly converting all my SBD and powering up every single day here on Steem and growing my account, and I plan to continue doing so. I have been hosting contest to motivate participation and giving out attractive prizes.
As of today my account stands at 52400 SP, Almost a month back, it was at 51200.
Wishing more power to Steem and it's growth. It has survived all the storms and it will continue to rise and shine with all the efforts.
Today is Valentine's day, A day celebrated in the name of Love and Friendship. I wish everyone Love and Joy and may the energy of Love and Compassion spark and grow around in this world bringing a smile to every face and every heart.
