While it is true that there are many psychological theories that have already given answers about the human mentality, there are still many things that science still investigates because they recognize the complexity of the subject.

The intolerant person is aggressive

Now, this time we are going to focus on people who do not have much tolerance in specific situations and in cases like this is where several times I wondered what happens in the mind of an intolerant person because, when I see it from my side of the sidewalk I decipher that it is someone who requires help since, That attitude is not correct, much less healthy. In view of this, it is essential to bear in mind that there are various types of intolerance and the ones that most come to light are derived from religious, social, political, sexual, racial and cultural incompatibility.

The intolerant are always irritated

We are currently witnessing the level of intolerance that runs daily in our society. When I am present in a situation where this bad habit is developing, it is impossible for me not to wonder why in the XXI century we still have that failure and, despite the question, I am aware that most of the time there is always a leader who is responsible for polarizing and heating up a context. An example of this is that the political differences are becoming more and more because, we live in a system where we have been made to believe that we should all have the same political ideals and when we see that this is not the case, we immediately feel that the adversary is our enemy.

Social networks are also scenarios for intolerance because, it is enough for a public figure to publish something for the detractors to immediately expel their poison and, this has also transcended in our personal environment because, more than once it has happened that we make something public and, a family member or friend immediately reacts in a bad way because he does not share the same criteria as us and, All these situations immediately lead to intolerance as well as conflicts that could have been avoided. It should be noted that, these are just some points of the various that exist.

When I analyze these situations I do not stop feeling worried because, intolerance is plunging us into an abyss that does not lead to anything good and once we are there, we will not leave easily since, the mentality of an intolerant person develops dichotomous thoughts, this being the characteristic of someone who always feels that if someone does not have their same ideals, It is against you. In the same way they think that they do everything wrong and only accept a point of view which is only theirs. In addition to this, they are also characterized by being distrustful people and are always promoting enmity.

The intolerant feel like judges of life

In this same sequence we have that, intolerant people apply a false consensus because, apparently they make us believe that they are mediating in a conflict situation however, in reality what they are doing is inducing their ideas with great caution and this is delicate because, this is when we see that the intolerant are people who exercise extremism and radicalism very well for that reason, If someone has these characteristics, he will hardly be willing to accept the adverse criteria to which he has. Keep in mind that dichotomy combines very well with bias.

Intolerance turns us into dynamite

An indispensable aspect in this issue is that, the mentality of a bigoted is prejudiced therefore, they do not accept that society changes and that they can also change. I once read that the level of prejudice is higher in religious, sexual and racial contexts. In addition to this, the countries that make up the top 3 when promoting intolerance are Spain, the United States and Russia, however, here we must note that, in this the nations of the Middle East were excluded because, they have a very different culture from the Western, Asian and European.

Intolerance is not a good counselor

Bigots have a narcissistic mindset because they only believe in their theories, beliefs and values. They come to consider that they are the only ones who act well and when someone is in a conflictive situation, they show the lack of empathy and according to specialists, they act with that coldness because, possibly in the past they were very cruel to them and, they think that this is the only way to act or failing that, They are dominated by frustration and in view of not having achieved something they dreamed of, they begin to develop selfish feelings about it, they do not like other people to advance.

Finally, we live in a multitudinous world where, there are different ways of loving, living, thinking, believing and feeling for this reason, there is no need to impose our points of view on this because, each human being is the architect of his own criteria. Let us keep in mind that being different or having criteria that do not coincide with everyone, is not a crime and tolerance is a value that we must put into practice to live in a better world.
