Utilization of Village Funds in the Posyandu sector for village community health

The Health sector is a priority activity that can be budgeted from Village funds. One of the routine activities that is always budgeted every year in the Village APBG is the Posyandu activity. From the data released by the Ministry of Villages, there are already thirty-six thousand Integrated Service Posts or Posyandu that have felt the benefits of Village funds.

Posyandu is the leading mover in the village. Posyandu cadres are the leading movers in implementing posyandu activities in the village. Not only children's posyandu now in every village are being promoted the formation of the elderly posyandu and also youth posyandu, so that capacity building for posyandu cadres needs to be improved and the quality and services and facilities and infrastructure also need to be improved.

Actually, what is the purpose of having a posyandu in the village, one of its goals is to reduce maternal and child mortality, increase the role of village community members to develop family planning activities, and become a place for the family resilience movement.

Moreover, in recent years the issue of stunting has become a hot issue in North Aceh, almost in some sub-districts there are children who have stunting potential. In North Aceh's Perbub, it can even budget Village funds of up to 10% for stunting activities, all of which are carried out in every Posyandu activity in collaboration with the Village Midwife.

Activities that are routinely carried out in posyandu activities are supplementary feeding for mothers of infants and toddlers or known as Toddler Family Development, and also services for the elderly or Elderly Family Development. Village planning is the beginning of the process of submitting funds for posyandu activities in the village, both for routine activities, for example for posyandu cadres' fees, providing additional food, other operations as well as for equipment needs, such as the fulfillment of health equipment.
